Arbitration Act
The Arbitration Act 1950, as amended, or any Act substituted for it, as in force at the date of Acceptance of a Dispute for Arbitration (clause 5 hereof), shall apply to an arbitration under these Rules (except to the extent that these Rules express a contrary intention and such a regulation is admitted by the Act), and in particular any arbitrator or umpire under these Rules shall have all powers given by the said Act to an arbitrator or umpire, whether other powers as to the same matter be given by these Rules or not.
