
Fees & Costs
- The Registration Fee payable on submission of the Request for Arbitration and the other fees of the Committee are set out in Schedule 2 to these Rules. The Registration Fee and other fees may be altered by the Committee any time.
- In addition to the Registration Fee each party to any arbitration under these Rules shall (whether he takes part in the arbitration or not) pay to the Committee upon demand at any time, the Committee's fees together with all expenses and disbursement incurred up to that time by any arbitrator or umpire, or by the Committee upon the arbitration, whether such disbursements be specifically provided for by these Rules or not; and the Committee may at any time demand from any party such security for such fees, expenses and disbursements or for the costs of other parties as the Committee shall consider appropriate: to which end the Committee shall, for the purposes only of exercising the rights given by this Rule, be a party to any agreement providing for arbitration under these Rules.
- Fees are payable as follows:-
- the Registration Fee on receipt of the Request for Arbitration by the Committee;
- any other fees as at the date when the award is taken up.
- The full fees, costs, expenses and disbursements of an arbitration (including costs awarded to any other party) shall, except to such extent as they have already been paid (otherwise than by way of security for costs) and ought not in the opinion of the Committee to be repaid and except as the Committee may otherwise decide, be paid to the Committee by the party taking up the award.
